Advent Vespers at Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva, Illinois

Attended Vespers last night and found them a very welcome respite from winter's cold and all sorts of family and work concerns. I suspect it's the idea of our new Associate Minister and I hope he keeps the ideas coming.

Advent Vespers! I like the sound of that! Ironically, our monthly vespers (started by our first intern minister last year) were canceled this month. Next year I'll suggest the Advent Vespers.

with the minor factual conflict that they were offered last year... I didn't go last year, but totally agree that they're good stuff, so far.

and, hey, yay adam anyway, whether this was his idea or not.

really... I guess I just paid more attention to his announcement of them, and that we would sort of have them whether people showed up or not... It's a nice service... a nice break.
