World Organization for the Defense of Human Rights reports a Russian General killed in Syria

Via their facebook page.

URGENT, 07-08-2012: A Russian general and a translator working for the Russian army in Syria have reportedly been killed in an unsuccessful Russian army operation with ASSAD forces to take over a regime security centre previously captured by the resistance. The general was apparently an advisor to the Syrian Minister of Defense and to the Syrian army. The Russian General's name is Vladimir Petković. The information was obtained from confidential documents giving details of the Russian intervention in Syria. A gross evidence of Russian involvement in the war against Syrian people !
